Arabian Acres is a covenant-controlled community situated about 25 miles from Colorado Springs, on the northwestern flank of Pike’s Peak at approximately 9,000 feet above sea level.  Nearby Mueller State Park is just east of us and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is just a few miles to the west.  Cripple Creek with its rich mining history, its many casinos, and the always enjoyable Butte Theater is just half an hour up the hill on Hwy 67 south; and Woodland Park is just 12 miles away with shopping, dining, cinema, and more.

Fishing in our regularly stocked neighborhood pond is available year round, though ice fishing gear may necessary in the winter months.  Other winter activities include snow shoeing, sledding and cross country skiing.

Residents of Arabian Acres enjoy a serene lifestyle surrounded by gorgeous mountain views, verdant conifer and aspen forests, and frequent visits by a variety of wildlife.

Often seen and heard in the neighborhood are deer, wild turkeys, fox, tree frogs, a variety of birds, and more.  Some of the less often seen wildlife include bears, mountain lions, bobcats, skunks, raccoons and others.  Though we may not see them, they’re out there, and why it’s important to stay bear aware, to keep trash in bear-proof containers, and to not feed the wildlife (tempting as it may be!).

Overall, Arabian Acres is a lovely place to live: convenient enough to towns and activities, but far enough away to still enjoy the quiet beauty of nature.
